Local Restaurants’ Effect on Tourist Experience: A Case from Istanbul

This study aims to employ and validate experience economy theory in local restaurant settings understand the dimensions of from point view tourists. A self-administered structured questionnaire based on investigation previous studies was used collect data tourists staying Istanbul. Data were analyzed via exploratory factor analysis explore different food Contrary model, which proposes four experience, this research has identified three dimensions, for namely entertainment esthetics, education, escapism.
